  • Position: – Sales & Career Counsellor
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Psychology, Education, or a related field. A certification in career counselling is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, counselling, or a related field. Experience in the education sector is preferred.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Sales & Career Counsellor to join our team. This role combines the responsibilities of driving sales of our educational courses to schools and colleges while providing career counseling to students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong sales acumen, and the ability to guide students in making informed decisions about their future.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote and sell educational courses to schools, colleges, and individual students.
  • Identify and target potential clients in the educational sector, including institutions and students.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, educators, and students.

Career Counselling:

  • Provide one-on-one or group career counselling sessions to students to help them understand their career goals and align them with the right educational programs.
  • Assist students in identifying their strengths, interests, and career aspirations.
  • Guide students in making informed decisions about course selection, career paths, and educational opportunities.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate long-term relationships with educational institutions, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to students and parents, offering guidance on academic and career-related decisions.

Product Presentation & Promotion:

  • Present and demonstrate the value of our courses and programs to potential clients through meetings, presentations, and counselling sessions.
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and webinars to educate students and institutions about career opportunities and course offerings.

Negotiation & Closing:

  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of clients and provide ongoing support to students throughout their educational journey.

Market Research & Feedback:

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and student needs.
  • Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams to help refine course offerings and promotional strategies.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, counselling sessions, and client interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, counselling outcomes, and market insights.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with students, parents, and educational professionals.
  • Sales-driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, career assessment tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of the education system, career development theories, and labor market trends.
  • Familiarity with various educational programs, courses, and career pathways.
