Diploma in Dialysis Technician (DT)

Indian Medical Association is the only representative, national voluntary organization of Doctor of Modern Scientific System of Medicine, which looks after the interest of doctors as well as the wellbeing of the community at large. The objective of IMA is to promote and advance medical and allied sciences in all their different branches and to promote the improvement of public health and medical education in India. To fulfil this objective, IMA launched 2 years Diploma programs for different paramedics to bridge the gap of skilled professionals in the healthcare ecosystem. In 2019 Learnet Skills received affiliation for Diploma in Dialysis Technician, OT Technician and X-Ray Technician in Delhi and Assam.
The primary job of a DT is to operate dialysis equipment to perform dialysis on patients with acute or chronic kidney failure effectively and efficiently. They work under the supervision of physicians and nurses, primarily in hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres/ facilities, some nursing homes and long-term care facilities. They are also responsible for the operation, cleaning, and sterilization of the dialysis machines.
