Diploma in X-Ray Technician
Indian Medical Association is the only representative, national voluntary organization of Doctor of Modern Scientific System of Medicine, which looks after the interest of doctors as well as the wellbeing of the community at large. The objective of IMA is to promote and advance medical and allied sciences in all their different branches and to promote the improvement of public health and medical education in India. To fulfil their objective IMA launched 2 year Diploma programmes for different paramedical staff which enables us to bridge the gap of skilled professionals in the healthcare ecosystem. In 2019 Learnet Skills received affiliation from the Diploma courses in Dialysis Technician, OT Technician and X-Ray Technician across the country.
Diploma in X-ray Technician – An X-Ray Technician works in diagnostic centres and hospitals which need to create X-Ray images of the body part using X-ray machines under the supervision of radiologist.
Key work areas are to prepare the X-Ray room, machine and patient for the procedure, position the patient correctly during the procedure, operate and maintain an X-Ray machine, explain the procedure to the patient, make reports of the X-Ray and keep a record of the same.
