The American Heart Association (AHA) is an international resuscitation council that publishes and regulates the scientific guidelines every 5 years for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC), which further forms the foundation of lifesaving protocols and skills used by healthcare professionals, companies, and hospitals throughout the world. Anyone who responds to cardiovascular emergencies in and out of the hospital settings enhances their treatment knowledge and skills through the AHA programmes.

AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – One day program enriches the healthcare professionals to better handle emergencies. It is a video-based program along with hands on experience on fully automated mannequins which provide real time learning experiences. The course covers adult, child and infant CPR technique-one rescuer & two rescuers, use of pocket face mask, use of bag valve mask, use of Heimlich manoeuvre to relieve choking etc.
