The American Heart Association (AHA) is an international resuscitation council that publishes and regulates the scientific guidelines every 5 years for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC), which further forms the foundation of lifesaving protocols and skills used by healthcare professionals, companies, and hospitals across the world. Anyone who responds to cardiovascular emergencies in and out of the hospital enhances their treatment knowledge and skills through the AHA programmes.
Learnet Skills is an authorized ITC (International Training Centre) of AHA conducting AHA-certified BLS (Basic Life Support) provider and instructor programmes pan India.
The AHA ACLS (Advance Cardiovascular Life Support) course is designed for healthcare providers who wish to impart further specialized care with essential life support. This two-day advanced-level course covers various topics essential and applicable to most emergencies. The candidate is expected to know the basics of ECG and Pharmacology. The programme covers how to identify and treat tachyarrhythmias, bradyarrhythmias, cardiac arrest and return of spontaneous circulation, acute coronary syndrome, stroke, chain of survival, and effective team dynamics in detail.
