The program enrolled youth from economically weaker families both from urban slum locations and rural areas. As an implementing partner, Learnet skills designed the initiative’s rollout.
Community engagement with Block/Village officials and Learnet workers to spread awareness about the program. Further, a counseling and selection test was held for candidates.
Further, using standardized multi-media content high-quality industry-required training was provided with a special focus given to individuals’ development to help maximize their employment opportunities.
The skill-based programs have successfully created alternative sustainable livelihood options and job opportunities for thousands in Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Moradabad, Patna, and Kolkata.
