English for Employability at the Englishbolo Academies

The famous quote “If opportunity doesn’t knock then build a door” became our motto during the pandemic. The English for Employability or E2E program was conceptualised keeping the far-fetched customer base in mind who could not step  out during COVID times but also wanted to be relevant for the coming times. English for Employability caters to job seekers, higher class students, housewives, in-service staff job upgradation, customers related to skill sector and in fact, anyone who wants to learn English. The program has 4 levels or Grade Series where the trainees are assessed based on their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. After the assessment the learning journey of the aspirants starts in one of the below levels. Presently, there are 25 English Academies that have been established across 12 states in India.

Level 1- Bilingual course in basic English

Level2 – Course in everyday English

Level 3 – Course in functional English and soft skills

Level 4 – Course in functional English, Personal Development Planning, and soft skills

The course runs for 141 hours, divided across 47 training days. The course structure is divided into 4 modules with 9 sessions each. This makes it 36 sessions for each level.

The Assessment structure consists of an initial Entry Gate Assessment determiner test. It is further followed by Pre assessment, 3 formative, 1 summative, post assessment which allows trainees to assess themselves at each turn of the program. Assessments are the real mirrors to the change the aspirants are experiencing. This program along with English Bolo fulfils all the needs of a language learner who aspires for a better future.
